Q1 Intramural: Dodgeball Mania!

Intramurals are finally here! As the intense action in Q1 Intramural: Dodgeball Mania! took place between the teams, everyone crowded the courts to watch and cheer on their teams. As it turned out, team Na Koa dominated, winning the 7th Grade Championship title! Team Laule’a won every game in the competition which made them our 8th Grade Champs! Unfortunately there can only be one, and CONGRATULATIONS to TEAM LAULE’A for winning the Championship Game to become the Intramural Dodgeball School Champions!!! Q1 Intramural: Dodgeball Mania!

HEADS UP!!!!! Dodgeball mania was a crazy 8 days of fast balls, beaming, and dodging balls left and right!  Grade level teams were battling it out to find the very best and it was heated and as it was intense! After 3 long games of hard work, Hui Mana’o came on top and became the 8th Grade Champion. As for the 7th graders, Fantastic 4 once again swept all the other 7th grade teams. After the grade level champs were decided, it was time to find out who the school champion would be this year… It was a very exciting and nerve-racking game! Were the 8th graders too old and slow or were the 7th graders too young and inexperienced?!? Team Hui Mana’o eventually went undefeated and got yet another victory to become the Highlands Intermediate Dodgeball Champions 2016!!! Even better was the final day of Q1 Intramural Dodgeball -- the annual Teacher All-Stars vs. Student All-Stars Game! Once again, the teachers proved they still got it and the students didn’t stand a chance. Intramural Champions Party 2016

Four intramural for four amazing quarters!  Today we celebrated the school champions with pizza, pictures and trophies!!!  Congratulations to Q1 Intramural Dodgeball Champions -- Team Fantastic 4!  Congratulations to Q2 Intramural Volleyball Champions -- Team Hui Mana'o!  Congratulations to Q3 Intramural Soccer Champions -- Team Hui Ha'aheo!  And finally, congratulations to Q4 Intramural Basketball Champions -- Team Hui Mana'o!  Here's a special shout-out to Team Hui Mana'o for the 2-peat!  Thanks to ALL students who played and represented their teams so well this year...

Q1 Intramural: Dodgeball Mania!

This year’s intramural season started off with a blast! Q1 Intramural Dodgeball was as wild as it was exciting -- everyone seemed to love it! 6 players from each team throwing ball back in forth with fury! Many contestants got eliminated in a blink of an eye, yet some survived to the end, putting sweat and even some blood into it!  Team Laulea came out as the 8th Grade Champ and Fantastic 4 as the 7th Grade Champ!  It was sure to be Father Time put up against Highlands Fountain of Youth -- Highlands underdogs, Fantastic 4,  came out at the top winning this year’s 2016 Dodgeball Championship!  Wrx, Athletics Committee Chair

Spirit Week 2015 is Coming....

Our annual Spirit Week is coming up next week!  HR Reps and HR teachers will have more information on how you can participate.  There are huge amounts of spirit points at stake and your Team needs you to dress up everyday and win the daily Spirit Week Lunch Competitions!!!
